Since 2016, the Department of Computational Physics and Information Technology (DFCTI) has developed the cloud computing infrastructure of IFIN-HH based on OpenStack, consisting of a dedicated cluster that successively evolved regarding software stack and tehnology involded. It currently uses Infiniband communication technologies and provides a couple hundred of vCores. Since 2017 the infrastructure is certified and part of EGI Federated Cloud Infrastructure.
